The case is made from heavy duty plastic, and looks quite good on close inspection. The simple pattern setting it apart from the clear or flat plastic cases from Orico, which are also very good btw. The case halves slide apart easily to reveal the drive bay. Supplied is a piece of self-adhesive foam to stop thinner drives rattling. Insert the drive, slide the case halves back together, connect the cable, and away you go.In terms of speed, I find the Orico cases to be acceptable. They don't achieve the rated top speed, but nor are they slow. With a decent SSD, they easily outperform any thumb drive and make backing up valuable data a no-brainer.Outstanding value for money, good looking, well made cases. I bought two. One black, one white.
